Welcome to Cosycraftz

Welcome to Cosycraftz

Welcome to my blog! I am not sure how often I will post here, perhaps from time to time if I get any inspiration, share some fun ideas from others or if I want to showcase some commissions in more detail. I’ve also got my newsletter too so hopefully I can provide some interesting things from time to time!

It’s quite surreal for me to have a website as it seemed like it formed very quickly. It’s a nice place for me to share things I’ve made, and I look forward to learn and improve as I go!

I wanted to tell you a little bit about my passion for art and some of my favourite things to do. I’m not sure where my artistic side comes from – my Dad is terrible at arts and my Mum is creative, but is probably best at drawing daisies when waiting on hold trying to pay some sort of bill. She’s drawn a lot of daisies!

I would say the hardest thing I have done to date is the painting I did of my sister and dog for a school project because I wanted it to look as realistic as possible. My favourite thing I have done is probably one of my sunset paintings because I love the process of blending the colours together.  Doing one of the dog paintings was tricky at first but like anything I guess the more you do it, the better you become. Afterall, I am always up for a challenge.

I’m developing my skills all the time as I used to draw a lot in pencil however, I now enjoy using different paints and other techniques such as oil pastels and charcoal. Aside from painting and drawing, I find making smaller crafts such as jewellery, clay and even getting out my sewing machine fun to do as I am more hands on. My aim is to hopefully create some of these things on Cosycraftz.

So, you’re probably wondering why I’ve made this website, well I’m keen to share my work to you and spread the positive effect it can have. I love the thought of helping people make memories or gift something for people to cherish by creating art that is personal and meaningful. Feel free to contact me for any ideas you have as I would be more than happy to see what I can create.

Thanks for reading my first ever blog post, hopefully speak to you soon!
